 그저 시선을 다른 방향으로 돌려 바라봤을 뿐인데 익숙했던 것들이 낯설어 지고, 여태 알지 못했던 모습을 발견하곤 합니다.

트랩의 첫번째 셀프 타이틀 앨범 "TRAP"은 그 미시감(未視感)을 포스트 그런지의 형식을 벌어 음악에 옮겨 담았습니다.

8곡의 각기 다른 이야기를 통해 인간과 다양한 사건들에서 겪게 되는 그 낯설음을 강렬하고 묵직하며 때론 처연하고 서늘하다

가 또 금새 녹아 내릴 듯 타오르는 그들만의 소리로 표현했습니다.

음악을 통한 생생한 재현을 위해 TRAP은 라이브와, 앨범에서 모두 멤버들의 날것 그대로의 소리만을 사용하려 노력하였

고, 이번 TRAP의 첫 정규 앨범 [TRAP] 역시 같은 방식으로 제작 되었습니다.

정제되지 않은 순수한 에너지를 담기 위해 1년 6개월에 달하는 오랜 스튜디오 작업 끝에 만족스러운 결과물을 만들

어 내었고 그 모든 것들이 이 한 장의 앨범 안에 담겨 있습니다.
