비의 앨범 타이틀 ‘PIECES by RAIN’의 ‘PIECES’는 여러 점의 예술 ‘작품’과 아티스트 비를 구성하는 각기 다른 5곡의 ‘조각’을 표현하고 있다. 각 트랙의 서로 다른 템포와 성격이 지금까지 가수 비가 보여주지 못했던 다양한 매력들을 담아냈으며, 이 곡들이 하나의 앨범으로 모여 아티스트 비를 완성한다는 콘셉트다.

지난 2020년 12월 31일에 선공개 됐던 ‘나로 바꾸자 (duet with JYP)’를 포함해 총 5곡이 수록된 이번 앨범은, 청하와 잭슨(Jackson Wang), 싸이퍼(Ciipher)의 멤버 케이타, 태그, 원이 함께하며 JYP에 이은 역대급 콜라보 라인업을 완성시켰다.

타이틀 곡 ‘WHY DON’T WE (Feat. 청하)’는 Progressive House와 R&B Topline의 결합으로 탄생한 곡이다. 중독성 강한 멜로디에 더해져 더욱 돋보일 비와 청하의 매력적인 보컬과, 무대 위 두 사람이 펼칠 퍼포먼스가 기대 포인트로 꼽힌다.
