The latest session of “MEGA STAGE,” co-hosted by Ktown4u and Megabox to support rookie musicians, concluded successfully with a warm response from fans.

 

On June 24, the 16th installment of Mega Stage took place at Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, featuring a vibrant live performance by artist YEGNY and a mellow acoustic session by singer-songwriter duo naNa_Sum.

 

This weekly Saturday program, part of Ktown4u’s artist boost-up initiative in collaboration with Megabox, provides a meaningful offline platform for emerging musicians to bond with fans and share their music face-to-face.

 

Opening the first half, YEGNY captivated the audience with dynamic piano performances of various K-pop hits and original songs. Her self-written track “Re-back” particularly stood out with heartfelt lyrics expressing the desire for lost youth to find strength and comfort through someone else’s voice.

 

That day, YEGNY performed 10 songs including IU’s “BBIBBI” and Guckkasten’s “Doldung-i.”

The second half featured naNa_Sum, who filled the venue with their charming acoustic vibes. Their set showcased diverse instrumentation and clear vocals, proving their stage presence beyond that of typical rookies. The setlist included popular songs that audiences could easily enjoy and sing along with.

 

They performed AKMU’s “I Love You” and even “Remember Me” from Disney’s Coco soundtrack, blending K-pop and cinematic music seamlessly.

 

Meanwhile, the 17th edition of Mega Stage will be held on May 31, featuring a live stage by singer-songwriter Im Ye-song and a special live busking performance celebrating artist OBON’s new EP “RE:BORN.”
