(Culture News – Reporter Lee Jimin) K-culture platform Ktown4u is strengthening its online content distribution by collaborating with Japan’s leading shopping complex, Shibuya109.
On August 1, Ktown4u will officially open the “Shibuya109 Online Exclusive Store” within its platform.
This new online store will feature curated content goods selected directly by Shibuya109, offering them to fans worldwide through the Ktown4u platform.
The store will include a wide range of Japanese local content, including J-POP and K-POP artist merchandise, popular character goods, anime merchandise, and brand collaborations.
The first phase begins with online sales of MD products from the “Ichimaru Nine POPUP SHOP,” in collaboration with Cloud Nine Inc., the agency managing Ado and others. The lineup will gradually expand to include more artists and brands.
Ktown4u aims to strengthen its specialized store model tailored to fandom preferences and trends through this collaboration, marking a major step in expanding into J-POP and Asian pop culture markets.
Choi Jong-im, Head of Business at Ktown4u, stated, “Opening the Shibuya109 Online Exclusive Store as an independent brand store within our platform is highly significant,” and added, “This is the first step in providing a richer shopping experience for global fans of J-POP, K-POP, and character & anime culture.”
She continued, “We will continue to expand our content and services to build a platform that connects artists and fans organically.
