Korea’s representative shopping tourism festival, Korea Grand Sale 2026, will be held from December 17 through February 22 next year.

This year’s festival officially begins on December 17 at Community House Masil in Myeong-dong, featuring a theme video titled “Korea Grand Sale, an Exciting Voyage Toward the Sea of Hallyu,” along with a K-pop congratulatory performance by K-Tigers, marking the start of the 68-day event.

A record-breaking 1,750 companies across various sectors—including aviation, accommodation, shopping, food & beverage, transportation, beauty, and convenience services—will participate, offering an unprecedented range of benefits.

In the aviation sector, 10 domestic airlines, including Korean Air, will offer discounts of up to 96% on international inbound flights to Korea.

The hotel industry will introduce experience-based accommodation packages. Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul will provide free ice rink access and integrated palace admission tickets, while Courtyard Marriott Seoul Namdaemun will offer Olive Young prepaid cards to guests booking its “Discover K-Beauty Package.”

Through partnerships with online travel agencies (OTAs) such as Fliggy, Konest, and Agoda, additional benefits including hotel discounts and experience vouchers will also be provided.

Major retailers—including department stores, duty-free shops, outlets, hypermarkets, and convenience stores nationwide—will expand shopping benefits by offering gifts based on purchase amounts, discount coupons, membership upgrades, complimentary drinks, and welcome gifts.

Collaborations with brands favored by international tourists will also be expanded. Kahi, Olive Young, Musinsa Standard, Samjin Fish Cake, and Ktown4u will participate in online and offline shopping promotions, offering discounts of up to 90%, experiential programs, and exclusive souvenirs available only in Korea.

In addition, partnerships with foreign payment apps such as UnionPay and WOWPASS will provide instant discounts and cashback benefits of up to 15% at participating stores.

The festival will also feature five themed experience programs inspired by globally popular K-content:
K-Gourmet, K-Exciting, K-Stylish, K-Healing, and K-Inspired.

Visitors can enjoy hands-on experiences such as making and tasting Korean food, learning K-pop choreography, attending music shows, skiing lessons, beauty and fashion workshops, traditional wellness programs, musical performances, and architectural tours.

Regional special exhibitions will also be introduced through partnerships with OTAs, enabling tourists to experience unique attractions across Korea.

A welcome center will be established at Noon Square in Myeong-dong, offering shopping benefits, photo zones, lucky draws, and receipt-based events to revitalize the local commercial district.

More details about the festival’s benefits and programs can be found on the official Korea Grand Sale website.
