EPEX(이펙스)의 첫 번째 미니앨범 ‘바이폴라’ 파트 1 : 불안의 서(1st EP Album ‘Bipolar’ Pt.1 : 불안의 서)는 EPEX(이펙스)가 앞으로 전개할 전체 세계관의 시작을 알리는 앨범이다.

‘Bipolar’(양극성)라는 대주제 아래 이번 pt.1에서는 청소년기에 겪게 되는 다양한 ‘불안의 시작’에 대한 이야기들을 담고 있다.

상실감으로 인해 만연한 우울감, 꿈을 묻는 어른들에 대한 반감, 루머가 진실로 둔갑되는 과정, 자유라는 단어의 의미에 대한 고민 등 청소년들의 불안이 시작되는 지점에 대한 이야기들을 정통 Hip-hop Sound 부터 Electro-Trap, Latin, R&B 등의 장르를 통해 다양하게 풀어내고 있다.
