세계음악여행 SSBD[Same Same But Different] 프로젝트는 지금까지 65개국 220여개 도시의 투어를 진행하며 세계에 한국문화를 알리는 것은 물론, 각양각색의 예술가들과 만나 협업을 진행해온 ‘김주홍과 노름마치’가 국내 관객들에게 다양한 문화를 소개하고자 기획되었다. SSBD 프로젝트는 2013년에 시작되어 매년 새로운 문화권의 아티스트를 초청, 우리나라와 기반이 다른 예술가와의 협업을 통해 한국전통음악과 타문화 간 교류의 장을 열고, 그동안 경험해 보지 못한 월드뮤직으로서의 한국전통음악을 가지고 국내 관객을 만난다. 여섯 시즌 동안 협업한 라이브 공연을 세 개의 앨범 패키지에 담았다.
첫 번째 패키지의 CD1은 2013년 SSBD 시즌 1. ‘Everlasting Friends Asia’에서 일본 최고의 전위 재즈드러머 ‘토시 츠치토리’와, CD2는 2014년 SSBD 시즌 2. ‘Bidangil: The Silk Road’에서 독일 하프 연주자 ‘루디거 오퍼만과 글로벌 플레이어스'와 협업한 음악을 선보인다.
