Shinhwa member and actor Eric Mun has caught the attention of fans with his noticeably more laid-back appearance.

A Chinese restaurant in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, recently shared on its official social media account that Eric had dined there with his parents.

The restaurant’s post read, “Shinhwa’s Eric visited us today with his parents. In person, he’s impressively tall and genuinely handsome. He thoroughly enjoyed the food and even gave us a thumbs up, which we greatly appreciated. We were touched that he willingly posed for a photo with us.”

The shared photos show Eric sporting a cap and a khaki short-sleeve t-shirt. His casual, unembellished outfit exuded a more relaxed vibe than his previous public appearances. Notably, his naturally fuller figure sparked various reactions among fans.

This isn’t the first time Eric’s transformed look has made waves. In March, he attended fellow Shinhwa member Lee Min-woo’s wedding with his wife, Na Hye-mi, and their two sons, drawing attention for his more robust physique.

Eric tied the knot with actress Na Hye-mi in 2017. The couple welcomed their first son in 2023 and their second child last year, making Eric a father of two. He has been prioritizing his family life, focusing on marriage and parenting, which seems to have contributed to his more settled daily routine.

Eric’s last acting role was in the 2020 MBC drama “The Spy Who Loved Me.” As his hiatus from the entertainment industry enters its fifth year, fans are eagerly anticipating news of his next project and his eventual return to the spotlight.
