'Bloodhounds 2' Tops Buzz Charts in First Week of August, Enters Global Top 10 in 13 Countries

The action-packed sequel 'Bloodhounds 2' is making waves both domestically and internationally, dominating buzz charts and setting new streaming records.

According to the latest FUNdex results released by Good Data Corporation on August 4, lead actor Lee Dong-wook clinched the top spot in the performer buzz category. The series itself also claimed the number one position in the TV-OTT integrated drama category, showcasing its immense popularity among viewers.

Disney+ is also celebrating the show's record-breaking performance. The Walt Disney Company Korea announced that 'Bloodhounds 2' became the most-watched Korean original series on its debut day, both globally and in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

The series is also making a strong showing on global OTT ranking site FlixPatrol. As of August 4, it topped all Disney+ categories in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, while also breaking into the global top 10 in 13 countries, setting impressive viewing records worldwide.

At the heart of the series' success is Lee Dong-wook, who plays Jeong Jin-man, the charismatic leader of Team 'Murder Help.' Lee's intense presence and action-packed performance as Jeong Ji-an's uncle (played by Kim Hye-jun) have significantly boosted the show's appeal.

'Bloodhounds 2' releases two episodes every Wednesday on Disney+, with a total of eight episodes planned for the season.
