On June 25, Jang took to social media with a handwritten letter, sharing, "I have some personal news I wanted to convey directly to you all. This October, I will be tying the knot with someone who has been by my side for a considerable time."
The couple plans an intimate, family-focused ceremony. "We've decided on a quiet service with our immediate families," Jang explained. "The decision to marry came after much reflection and deliberation."
He continued, "Our time together has allowed us to discover different facets of each other, deepening our mutual understanding and affection. We've now chosen to be each other's closest ally, embarking on a journey of shared joy and happiness." His words clearly conveyed his deep affection for his fiancée.
Jang also expressed his desire to personally inform his fans about the marriage. He concluded by promising, "I'll continue to strive to show you my best as an actor and to grow as an individual."
Earlier that day, OSEN reported that Jang would wed actress Kim Seung-yoon in October. According to sources, the pair met on a project where Jang directed and Kim acted. They reportedly dated discreetly before deciding to marry.
Born in 1992, Jang Dong-yoon has starred in various TV series including "School 2017," "The Tale of Nokdu," "A Poem a Day," and "Tracer." He has also ventured into directing with projects like "Be My Ears" and "Nuruk."
Kim Seung-yoon, born in 1997, has appeared in several productions, including "In Water," "Our Day," "Nuruk," and "Maze."
