(MHN Reporter Lee Yun-bi) boy group CORTIS has claimed the No. 1 spot on Ktown4u’s weekly album sales chart.

According to data compiled by the global K-pop platform Ktown4u for the week of October 27 to November 2, CORTIS's debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES sold 12,374 copies, securing the top position on the chart.

CORTIS made their official debut on September 8 with 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES', following a pre-release of their title track 'What You Want' on August 18, which helped them make a strong first impression.

The group’s name, CORTIS, is a stylized formation derived from the phrase 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES'. It reflects the group’s mission to think freely and break away from societal rules and norms. Composed entirely of teenage members, CORTIS brings a youthful and refreshing energy to the K-pop scene.

Their debut track 'What You Want' is a bold manifesto of a group stepping into a new world. The song stands out for its rare blend of 1960s-inspired psychedelic rock guitar riffs and heavy boom bap hip-hop beats — a unique combination not often found in K-pop.

CORTIS is the third boy group launched by BigHit Music, following the debut of BTS in 2013 and TOMORROW X TOGETHER in 2019.
